An Elden Ring delay has been official by the game's official Twitter account.

The move sees the game, which is a collaboration between Spunky of Thrones author George R.R. Martin and Dark Souls developer FromSoftware, pushed backwards to February 25, 2022, more or less one month subsequent than its original January 2022 liberation go out.

Every bit you can see from the tweet below, the time lag is being put down to the fact that the "depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded first expectations."

While it's understandably unsatisfactory news to see the game slip from its January release, information technology's fortunately not overly agelong a wait compared to other St. George R.R. Martin works that have been pushed binding. Game of Thrones fans who have been waiting patiently for The Winds of Winter can attest thereto.

Plus, registration is now open for the Elden Gang network test, which will allow players to try out the legal action role-playing game, before its new February release date, this November.

IT's been a long road to launch for Elden Ring, with fans clamouring for whatsoever news connected the brave since it was first revealed at E3 2019. This summer, we finally got a new look at Elden Ring during E3 2021, when the game's official trailer closed tabu Summer Games Fest Live, showing the intriguing RPG in all its glory.

Then, this weekend, we got a reportedly less official looking at the game, as declared leaked footage of Elden Ring running along Xbox One made its style to Twitter and showed off a suitably imposing fantasy Earth. While fans might be wait a little longer for Elden Mob, hopefully they'll be able to see just how accurate that footage is Sooner rather than afterwards.
